On a day when we honor the service of the millions of men and women who have worn this country’s uniform, SIA is pleased to announce the 2024 launch of a new community for veterans whose work in their civilian jobs continues to support security and safety.
The SIA Veterans in Security community will provide resources and networking opportunities to veterans, guardsmen and reservists who work in the security industry, in addition to active duty members who are transitioning to civilian life and are looking for a new career. The group will also welcome the support of people who do not have a direct military affiliation, such as businesses that employ or are looking to hire veterans and industry professionals who simply want to give something back to those who have given so much.
